Welcome to cattery Fjalldrapa

My name is Sigrķšur and I live in Reykjavķk, Iceland  My cats are my hobby number one.

Fjalldrapa Fantacia Lilac Lust

Lilac tabby point.

I have owned (or be owned by) cats for many years, but I bougt my first color point/himalayan 2002. That was Blįskjįs Jasmin. She is a pet quality but I was thrilled over her personality and temprament. That kind of personality was so new to me.Thats why I bought another and another, did start to read every thing I could found about this breed. I have learn a lot but like other beginners I have lot more to learn and every single day brings new experience to me.

In oktober 2003 I did import my first male, from the Netherlands, from The Happy Sisters cattery. His name is Kyoto Bao Qin, he is Int. Champ. from Cfa. Then in 2004 imported another cat from same cattery, her name is The Happy Sisters Isn“t She Lovely and once again I imported a cat that was from Mariposas in Sweeden. His name is Mariposas Lines Deleted, he came to us in march 2005 and the female Mariposas Candy line, came from same cattery  in november 2005. A new male joined us now in january 2007 he came from the cattery Rosegarth his name is Rosegarth Sugar Bear. Stefania and I bought him together and he will live with her and her cats.

I think I can never thank those breeders, Coby and Marie  enough for trusting me for theyr beautyful cats and all the help and support they have given me.

We also have start to breed Maine Coon and they have theyr own page, please visit them also and dont forget to leave a pawprint in the guestbook :o)

We are members of Kynjakettir who are registered in fife. For me it is very important to go to those shows we have here in Iceland, there is only 4 shows per year so as you can see, it can take us very long time to grand. If we are lucky and the cat get his certificate on every show he will be nine years old when he, gets the titel Grand Champion.

Fjalldrapa is a cage less cattery.

We have now testaed all of our breeding cats by DNA for PKD and I can proudly annonse that they are all negative.

We feed our cats with Royal Canin and groom them with products from Bio Groom.

Thanks for stopping by and please remember my Guestbook
